Valentine’s Day – Pink Coffee Filter Heart Wreath

It’s been so dark, dreary and cloudy for days upon days here in Michigan.  I knew I needed something to brighten up the house in the form of a Valentine craft, so I decided on a pink coffee filter heart wreath!

I busted out my old cookie sheet, some coffee filters and the kids’ watercolor paint!  Next up, I grabbed the wire heart wreath that I had purchased from Dollar Tree and attempted to find a way to make this project come to life!

I set out coffee filters one layer at a time and then poured a little bit of water over each layer while painting them with a little bit of red paint.

The filters sat for about 20 minutes in the pan…

…after about 20 minutes I took them off one by one and set them out to dry.  They were looking really pink and I was pleased with how they had turned out!

I gathered the dry filters, made a pile and then hot glued them to the wire heart frame.

The wreath became more and more vibrant as they were added to the wire heart!  So pretty!

You guys!  Look how adorable!  This project cost me about two bucks!
This pretty coffee filter heart wreath is displayed in our office space and it fits in perfectly!
What do you think?  Do you have a favorite coffee filter craft?
Thanks, as always, for stopping by.  It means so much!
Marie 🙂
