Our kids have another snow day today and we woke up to snow-covered-everything! As much as I feel that I’m over the snow, the fact that it’s March helps a little and knowing that spring is on it’s way makes it a little more tolerable!
For today’s Friday Favorites I’m sharing what I’ve created this week, a new favorite toy for Jane aaaaaaaaand I decided to actually showcase some of my favorite items for spring break …and I’m sporting a swim suit for you all to see… on the internet… *nervous nervous nervous*
Let’s get to it!
ONE
So, here it is. I’ve shared this swimsuit here before, but I’m sharing it again…and I’m wearing it this time. I’m about 5′ 7″ and I currently weigh 163 pounds. I’ve had three kids so I definitely need some belly support. This swimsuit makes me feel really good and the lower belly support is awesome. The top half of the swimsuit also helps keeps the ta-tas in place so that I don’t have to be worried about a wardrobe malfunction while playing with my kids on the beach!
As for a coverup, I randomly found this pretty purple coverup at Walmart the other day. I don’t normally gravitate toward purple, but I must admit, it brightens things up!
A beach ensemble wouldn’t be complete without a beach bag. I’ve also shared this bag on the blog before, but it finally came in the mail and it’s awesome! I’m thinking I’ll fill it some Turkish towels, sunscreen and a few little snacks. There’s even a little pocket for my phone! I’m super pleased with it!
The other day Jane and I found this fun Picnic Playdough Shape Set at the grocery store and I’ve got to say, it was a lot of fun! Sometimes it can be difficult for parents to find something equally as entertaining to play with the kids, but this playdough set kept the both of us happy and occupied!
Now that the kids are in school and summer is coming to an end, I’m finally able to blog again! Woo to the Hoo!!! I’m back with another recap to our trip out West to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. It’s my goal to finish up these recaps this week! I’m linking up for…
Red, White and Blue Amazon Finds! Hey there, friends! Happy Friday! We have zero plans for the weekend and I am soooo here for it! I also got a full eight hours of sleep last night, which doesn’t happen much these days. I’m feeling nice and chipper and I’m ready for the weekend to begin!…
Let’s make an easy DIY tomato cage Halloween ghost! I love my little front porch ghost and I’m so excited to share how I made this sweet little fella! I decided to try to make this tomato cage Halloween ghost as budget-friendly as possible! I didn’t have a tomato cage on hand, some of you…
Hey there friends and Happy FriYAY! We have an exciting weekend of zero plans and I’m here for it! I plan to get in a much needed run or two and to catch up on a wee-bit-o-laundry…aaaaaand I may attempt to start a new book, Verity. Have you read it? I bought it last summer…
Let’s make some Halloween DIY Thrifted Figurine Trophies! You guys, this has to be my most favorite Halloween DIY that I’ve made this season. I grabbed some figurines for 25 cents from our local thrift store, some paint (here’s a link to an acrylic set from Amazon), and had a blast creating some spooky Halloween…
Brown Paper Bag Snowflakes seem to making quite the statement on Pinterest, so of course, I had to give them a try! These pretty snowflakes were THE easiest things to make! If you’d like to make these, you’ll need some brown paper bags, some scissors and glue. That’s it! I’ve been seeing some pretty fancy…

You look lovely in your swimsuit– it is very brave of you to share a photo with you in it. I've done that once and it was very, very nerve wracking! LOL. What a fun week of colorful activities.

That swimsuit is so cute, and it looks great on you! I love the coverup, too! I love that you modeled them both for us, too!
