Hello Monday - Jane’s 4th Birthday Party

Hello and Happy Monday!

I'm stopping by today to do a recap of Jane's 4th Birthday Party!  She had a unicorn themed party and it was so much fun!  We celebrated a week early since we celebrated her actual birthday while down in Seaside, Florida on spring break!

She had a magical party and I think we were able to make all her unicorn dreams come true.  :)

I quickly made this photo backdrop and it worked out great!

I was wearing wool socks with a spring dress, because, well, it's Michigan in March and it was still cold!

Henry and Eliza were in character for whatever is happening here!  LOL!  Love them!

How is she 4?!

Our neighbor, Amy, won for dressing as an actual unicorn!!!  Best thing EVER!!!!!

Jane and one of her besties, Willa!!!!

My great niece, Rosalee.

Eliza's friend, Ashlyn, was at our house all day as her mom was at a swim meet with her son in East Lansing for the day.  Ashlyn was a huge help!

Henry, Eliza and Ashlyn helped make both balloon garlands!  It was awesome have extra helping hands!

We were ready to party!

I ordered the cakes and cupcakes from Walmart and Jane was extremely happy with everything!  Henry, Eliza and Ashlyn also helped label all the food.  I told them to use "magical unicorn names!"  LOL!

It was time to sing and celebrate!  Jane kept her tongue out during the entire Birthday song...Bahaha!  I have no idea why she did that, but hey, when you're about to turn 4 why the heck not?!  Hahaha!

So cute!

Lots of opening of the gifts...

These girls immediately started to play with the toys!

My mom showed up a little late to the party, but I was able to snap some pictures of Jane opening grandma's gifts.

The girls playing with the gift from us - a new indoor tent!

....and I'll stop there!  Thanks for following along!  I hope you felt like you were at the unicorn party with us!  LOL!

Have the most magical day!

Marie :)

Friday Favorites

 Happy Friday, Friends!

We were up around 4:30 a.m. this morning and we’re heading to 30A in Florida, with an overnight stay in Alabama!  The drive from Michigan to Seaside is about 13 hours and we brought lots of snacks and activities for the ride.

I didn’t get to blog much this week due to another busy week, so I don’t have much to share on the crafty side of things.  I have been busy creating though, now I just need to get to work and actually blog about it all!

Here are a few things I’m loving this week!

This hair waver!

I wore my hair like this for a weekend at the theatre last weekend to watch Eliza and her peers put on a production of Peter Pan!  They all did phenomenal!

As for my hair, I was l.o.v.i.n.g. it!  This hair waver has worked so well for me!

Look at how pretty this dress is!  It also came with a unicorn necklace and a unicorn headband.  The dress made for one happy little girl!

I bought this swimsuit quite a bit ago and I’ve always been nervous to wear it, but I put it on the other day and said, “Who cares!”  I’m 160 pounds, 5’7”-ish and I’ve had three kids.  Don’t mind my hair!  Lol!  The suit is a fun one and keeps things where I want them to stay. ;)

This balloon pump has been a lifesaver!  Almost, literally… lol!  No more lightheadedness from attempting to blow up all the balloons.  Yikes!  It’s absolutely amazing and it’s one of the best things we own for parties.

Alrighty!  Welp, that about does it for me!  Back to driving we go!  We’re somewhere in Indiana and the kids are all sleeping in the backseats.

Have the most beautiful day, friends!

Marie :)
